“In The Words of a Sistah”
is not just another poetry show it is an artistic expression of the lives of women from different backgrounds,
cultures, and races. Now in its 12th year, this show has become one of the most sought
out poetry events in the area. In The Words Of A Sistah is a platform and
stage for the best poet/spoken word and vocalist in and around DFW. The main objective of the
show is to simply Touch, Move, and Inspire! This show has a proven
track record of doing just that
