Fatima Hirsi is a published poet whose work tackles themes of identity and natural ecologies. One of the most renowned public poets in North Texas, Hirsi writes poetry for strangers via her typewriter at sidewalks and events throughout the city. Her work has been featured in WFAA, KERA, The Dallas Morning News, Hirsi will record herself performing new work responding to the current state of the country that will use nature as a metaphor.
