School of Yes! Summer Camp with Cara Mia Theatre

We would like to invite you to the 2023 Summer Break Camp for "The School of Yes!" presented by Cara Mia Theatre. Children will learn about music, theatre, visual arts, and dance class. We would like to give a special THANK YOU to our sponsors: America's Credit Union, Vincent Greene Insurance Agency, and Mesquite Chiropractic. With their help, we are able to offer this camp for $25 per week. If you are still in need of financial assistance, we can accommodate scholarships if you email us at arts@cityofmesquite.com. Last day to register for the camp is Friday, June 23, 2023.

Mesquite Arts Center does not have counselors on staff to care for children. This camp is created with families in mind! We welcome you to sign up with the idea that parents will participate in the camp with their children. Cara Mia instructors + Mesquite Arts Center staff will be in attendance for all classes. All instructors and staff have received background checks.

To make things easier for you and your family, we have created two separate time slots for children to participate. If your family prefers a specific time slot due to ages in your family being from 4-14 years old, please email us at arts@cityofmesquite.com and we can assign you to the time slot you want to participate in.

Time Slot 1:
10-11:30 AM | Youth (4-7 years old)
*parent assistance is requested

Time Slot 2:
12:30 - 2 PM | Youth ( 8-14 years old)
*parent assistance optional

Children and parents are encouraged to participate in all weeks of the summer break camp. If you are not able to participate in the camp for all 5 days / 4 weeks, we still encourage you to participate! Please fill out the form attached to this webpage to notify us that you are coming.

If you need assistance, please email Mesquite Arts Center at arts@cityofmesquite.com with guardian information, the children's names and ages, and the time slot you are requesting to participate. Mesquite Arts Council has reserved funds to accommodate all families who would like to participate. No questions asked 😊
