The Mesquite Arts Council funds several free events throughout the year for the communities of North Texas. Enjoy FREE concerts every March through June with our Courtyard Series and Off The Rails Concerts. In the fall, please join us for our largest event of the year, Dia de los Muertos which brings musicians, dancers, artists, and artisans to share their craft and celebration with over 6000 attendees at the Mesquite Arts Center.
This year we celebrate our 30th anniversary with a NEW event called Winter GLOW Fest! This special event turns off all the lights inside the Mesquite Arts Center and provides an immersive experience for guests to see what happens when the arts GLOW.
The Arts Council also provides support for the Arts Center’s educational programming that brings performers and artists to teach classes in visual arts and musical and theatre performances. School of Yes! is a camp offered by Cara Mia Theatre and enriches the lives of Mesquite's youth during Spring Break and Summer Break. The Art Center’s curatorial program produces art exhibitions and clinics for adults and children’s participation. MEET and GREET with artists either on their YouTube channel or on selected dates. Discover MAC Presents to learn and play.
